psycho(s) was featured in the 2005 Milan Broad Band Week sponsored by PIGMAG.

Writer/Director Frank Hudec was born to a family of bookies in the New Orleans French Quarter.

In 1995, he produced Lise Raven’s award winning feature LOW. That same year, Frank helped start and now sits on the advisory board of the Slamdance Film Festival.

In 2000, Frank wrote and directed the feature film BUILDING BOMBS which Andreas Becker from Der Tagesspiegel called “a great, ironic indie… a message from better and happier times.”

While living in Berlin, he made the German and Russian language film DER TAUSCH (The Exchange). It debuted in the 2003 Clermont-Ferrand Film Festival.

In 2005, his video art piece psycho(s) was featured in MGM’s Milan Broad Band Week.

Frank’s script THE SLEEPING SHEPHERD was included in the 2006 IFP Film Market. The screenplay was inspired by the story of Stéphane Breitwieser who stole almost two-billion dollars in art only to have his co-dependent mother throw it all into a Rhine canal.

In 2010, he made two promotional films for partycrasher.us. One of which, PC by PC (The Life of the Party), has been selected as one of nine fashion films to debut in n9 Production’s contribution to the Big Screen Project at the Kimpton Hotel – a new jumbotron at 29th Street and 6th Avenue.

He is currently working on his first graphic novel NECROPOLIS. Read an interview with him here.

Frank is represented by Chris Hall at Provocation Entertainment.
